German and European welding technology is in greater demand than ever before in the aspiring country of Brazil with its high investments and planned major projects. Perfect timing for the Brazil Welding Show. With this event, MESSE ESSEN and its Brazilian partner, ARANDA EVENTOS, have created the first individual trade show for welding technology in Brazil, which will be held biennially beginning 2011. It offers exhibitors from all over the world the opportunity to present their latest developments in São Paulo – the heart of one of the largest growth markets in the world.

Brazilian economy has been growing at high rates, not only due to a sharp rise in domestic demand, but also driven by two sporting mega-events it will host: the WORLD CUP in 2014 and the OLYMPIC GAMES in 2016. Both events are expected to boost the metal structures sector, in which welding processes are paramount.

In adition, the pre-salt business as well as the automotive and ship building industries are also strenghtening the domestic market, increasing the Brazilian demand for welding technology and services.
